About Dr. Madhura Rao

Dr. Madhura Rao is a skilled and passionate orthodontist, known for her patient-focused approach and commitment to clinical excellence. She completed her Master's degree in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics from Manipal College of Dental Sciences, Mangalore, one of India's most prestigious and renowned dental institutions.

Her academic journey has been marked with distinction. In 2024, she received the J. G. Kannappan Award from the Indian Orthodontic Society for the Best Thesis Dissertation of 2022, a national-level recognition awarded to only one postgraduate each year. For this achievement, she was also felicitated by the Bombay Orthodontic Study Group in November 2024.

During her postgraduate years, Dr. Madhura consistently stood out among her peers. She won multiple accolades including the Best Scientific Research Paper and winner of a national-level Dr. G. Jayakumar Memorial quiz competition 2022. She has authored and co-authored several research papers published in reputed national and international dental journals, contributing to the advancement of orthodontic knowledge and practice.

Believing that learning never stops, Dr. Madhura regularly participates in advanced workshops and clinical training programs. She is the only orthodontist in Airoli, Navi Mumbai, certified in both Invisalign® clear aligner therapy and BRAVA™ lingual orthodontics—an advanced system for completely invisible, behind-the-teeth braces. This enables her to offer a wide range of modern, aesthetic, customized and minimally visible orthodontic treatment options to her patients of all ages.

Dr. Madhura is the founder of Align O Smile Dental and Orthodontic Care Centre in Airoli, Navi Mumbai, a state-of-the-art dental clinic with modern and advanced dental equipments designed to offer specialized orthodontic care in a warm, welcoming environment. In addition to practicing at her dental clinic, she also serves as a consultant orthodontist at multiple leading dental clinics across Navi Mumbai, Thane, and Mumbai.
